A Leeton woman was injured Thursday when a towed truck came loose and rolled into the path of her vehicle, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.

Janice R. Hosking, 70, was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment of minor injuries.

Hosking was northbound on state Route 13 at Southwest 600 Road, where 27-year-old Warrensburg resident Alan J. Woods was towing a pickup in the westbound lane. Troopers reported the pickup came loose from the two bar, rolled east on SW 600 Road and crossed state Route 13, striking Hosking’s vehicle.

Charges are pending in the investigation, according to reports.
