Two hurt in Henry County crash

Two Windsor residents were injured Sunday in a collision on state Route Y in Henry County, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.

Kathlene D. McKeehan-Brown, 52, was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton with serious injuries. Nathaniel T. Brennan, 18, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck and also was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital.

The accident happened just before 4 p.m. Sunday, as both drivers were southbound on state Route Y, less than a half-mile south of County Road NE 1100. According to Highway Patrol reports, Brennan struck McKeehan-Brown’s vehicle as he attempted to pass her.

After colliding, both vehicles ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch, troopers reported.

Charges are pending in the crash investigation.
