Carter-Angus engagement

Mike and Suetta Carter, of Green Ridge, announce the engagement of their daughter, Devon Carter, of Springfield, to Brandon Angus, of Springfield. He is the son of Donna and Curtis Gilmore, of Clever.

The future bride, a 2002 graduate of Green Ridge High School, received a bachelor of science degree in general business from Missouri State University in Springfield in 2006. She is a merchant services specialist at Liberty Bank in Springfield.

The future groom, a 2001 graduate of Hurley High School in Hurley, received a bachelor of science degree in business management and marketing from the University of Phoenix in Springfield. He served in the Army at Fort Campbell, Ky. He is a crew foreman for Compass Restoration in Springfield.

A June 2 wedding is planned at Drury Stone Chapel in Springfield.
