Barnett-Stevenson engagement

Loren Barnett and Tahne Smith, of Carthage, announce the engagement of their daughter, Hanna Rae Barnett, of Carthage, to Robert Dwayne Stevenson II. He is the son of Rob Stevenson and Tammy and Andy Fowler, all of Sedalia.

The future bride, a 2007 graduate of Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School in Joplin, graduated from the Process Institute of Cosmetology in Georgia in 2008. She is a hairstylist at Forever Young Salon in Oronogo.

The future groom, a 2006 graduate of Smithton High School, is a helicopter mechanic for the Army. He is stationed at Fort Leonard Wood.

A Dec. 17 wedding is planned at the Thorn Crown Chapel in Eureka Springs, Ark.
