Students appear in UCM productions

With involvement from local students, the University of Central Missouri’s Department of Theatre and Dance presented three one-act plays Dec. 1-3. Jerod Harms and Ben Whitcomb, both of Sedalia, were part of the cast for the productions.


The student-directed one-act plays presented in the Black Box Theatre in Nickerson Hall were “Extensions” by Murray Schisgal,“English Made Simple”” by David Ives and “Coax” by Neil Labute.


Harms, a son of Stan and Millie Harms, of Sedalia, was young man in the “Coax” production. He is a junior at UCM and a 2008 graduate of Green Ridge High School.


Whitcomb, a son of Randy and Susan Whitcomb, was young boy in the “English Made Simple” production. He is a senior at UCM and a 2005 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School.
