Skaggs to celebrate 90th birthday

Virgil Skaggs, of Syracuse, formerly of Sedalia, will celebrate his 90th birthday with a family birthday party Saturday at the home of his daughter and son-in-law in Syracuse.

He was born Feb. 4, 1922, in Sedalia. He is married to Neva Irene Skaggs.

He is retired.

He has two children, Rita Sue Kanenbley, of Syracuse, and Richard Skaggs, of Belleville, Ill.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
