Taylor to work at Yale
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Dr. Andre Taylor, son of Salome Taylor and a 1991 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, has accepted a position at the Yale School of Engineering and Applied Science.
He went to Yale from the University of Michigan, where he was a research scientist in the Department of Electrical Engineering.
His research interests include MEMs/Microsystems, fuel cells, batteries, and organic semiconductors (photovoltaics).
Taylor is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, American Chemical Society and the Electrochemical Society. His experience includes research with the University of Michigan’s Department of Chemical Engineering, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Intellectual Asset Management Business Group with E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Co.
Taylor received a doctorate from the University of Michigan, a master of science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor of science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, all in chemical engineering. He also holds a management of technology certificate from Georgia Institute of Technology College of Management.
