Teams needed for Melita Day Child Development Center for corporate spelling bee

Melita Day Child Development Center is seeking teams to participate in its 11th annual Corporate Spelling Bee at 6 p.m. March 15 at the Thompson Conference Center in the Heckart Science Building at State Fair Community College.

Any business, organization or group is invited to join the challenge by sponsoring a team. Each team will be composed of three members who may confer before giving the answer. The entry fee is $225.

If individuals wish to sponsor a team, but do not have team members, Melita will find some good spellers. Joint sponsorships to share the cost are also possible.

Refreshments will be provided from 5:30 until 6 p.m. All proceeds will go to the nursery.
