    Tesson-Wheeler wedding

    Angie Tesson and David Wheeler, both of St. Louis, were married at 2 p.m. May 31 at St. Cecilia Church in St. Louis.

    The bride is the daughter of William and Elaine Tesson, of O’Fallon. The groom is the son of Steve and Linda Wheeler, of La Monte.

    The Rev. Mark Chrismer conducted the ceremony. Tony Dolce was the organist.

    The bride was given in marriage by her father.

    Robyn Laurent was the maid of honor. Kelly Nimmo and Katie Case, sisters of the groom, and Shari Devine, Kara Roy and Jamie Vanderbeck were bridesmaids. Ashlee Tesson, niece of the bride, was a junior bridesmaid. Reece Nimmo, niece of the groom, and Ava Tesson, niece of the bride, were flower girls. Emily Wicks and Jen Heineman were candlelighters.

    Joe Damron was the best man. Jeremy Tesson and Brian Tesson, brothers of the bride, Brandon Hurt, cousin of the groom, and Brad Cunningham, Jason Sweet and Nate Smith were groomsmen. Jackson Nimmo, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Chris Nimmo and Jim Case, brothers-in-law of the groom, and Adam Polk, cousin of the groom, were ushers. Rick Mills, uncle of the groom, Stephanie Mitchell, cousin of the bride, and Rachel Phillips were readers.

    A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents May 30 at Cabanne House at Forest Park in St. Louis. The reception was at St. Louis City Hall.

    The bride, a 2000 graduate of Francis Howell High School in St. Charles, received a bachelor of science degree in political science and a master’s degree in administrative studies, with an emphasis in applied communications, from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield. She is a sales representative at United Rentals in St. Louis.

    The groom, a 1997 graduate of La Monte High School, received a bachelor of science degree in education from SMSU. He is a physical education teacher for the Festus school district. He is a baseball and pitching coach at Parkway South High School in St. Louis. He is a baseball coach of Rawlings Prospect Baseball Club in St. Louis.

    The couple honeymooned in Mayan Riviera, Mexico. They live in St. Louis.
