Jodi and Zachary Thomas, of Columbia, became the parents of a son, Evan Karis, born July 7, 2008, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.
The maternal grandparents are Robert and Roberta Maune, of Washington, Mo.
The paternal grandparents are Karis and Mary Ann Thomas, of Sedalia.
The paternal great-grandparents are Pearl Ruth Kahrs, of Smithton, and Ralph and Darlene Thomas, of Sedalia
