Man injured in collision with tractor-trailer

A Cole Camp man was injured Wednesday morning after a collision between a passenger vehicle and tractor-trailer on U.S. Highway 65, the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office reported.

James E. Davis, who was the driver of the passenger vehicle, was transported by a friend to Bothwell Regional Health Center shortly after 6:15 a.m. Wednesday. His condition was not immediately available Wednesday.

The accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and Highway 765 in Pettis County. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Gurdev Singh, of Canada, did not suffer injuries in the wreck, according to sheriff’s office reports.
