Wooldridge joins Experience Works

Shari Wooldridge has joined the staff of Experience Works Inc. as an employment and training coordinator.

Woolridge will coordinate services for older workers in Caldwell, Carroll, Chariton, Cooper, Howard, Johnson, Lafayette, Moniteau, Morgan, Ray and Saline counties.

In her position, Wooldridge is responsible for recruiting unemployed seniors for training and employment opportunities in public and nonprofit agencies. She also identifies training assignments for participants, monitors their work sites and job performance and helps them secure employment after upgrading their skills, according to a news release from Experience Works.

A nonprofit organization formerly known as Green Thumb, Experience Works offers job training services in Missouri, 29 other states and Puerto Rico through the Senior Community Service Employment Program.
