Tuck observes 87th birthday Sunday

Sam G. Tuck, of Warsaw, will observe his 87th birthday Sunday.

He was born June 15, 1921, in Kansas City. He was married for 48 years to Marie Tuck, who died Feb. 10, 1989. He was married for 17 years to Doris Tuck, who died Sept. 26, 2007.

He is a retired Air Force veteran, who served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He enjoys fishing, listening to music and dancing. He has been a member of the Masonic Lodge for 60 years. He is a member of Ararat Shrine, York Rite, Scottish Rite and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He has a daughter, Jeanne Smith, and her husband, Ed, of Versailles; a son, the late Frank Tuck; two stepdaughters, Lynne Beasley, of Warsaw, and Terri Trautman, of Kansas; two grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
