Twenter anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Twenter, of Sedalia, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday.

The Rev. Jim Betzen will conduct a renewal of vows service at 4 p.m. at St. Patrick Church. A private family dinner will be hosted by their children following Mass at the Sedalia Country Club.

Patricia A. White and Ruben A. Twenter were married Jan. 10, 1952, at St. Patrick Church, by the Rev. John T. Nolan.

Mr. Twenter worked at Fechtel Beverage for 27 years. He retired from Country Distributing Co., after 29 years of service. Mrs. Twenter enjoyed raising her children. They are members of St. Patrick Church.

They have seven children, Sarah Storey, of Omaha, Neb., Susan VanHorn, Philip Twenter and Jackie Stratton, all of Sedalia, and the late Christopher Twenter, Timothy Twenter and Cynthia Twenter; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
