Fairgoer grateful for volunteer’s help

I would like to thank Virginia Gregory, a volunteer at the Missouri State Fair, for her help when I lost my keys at the fair. I had no idea where I had lost them, and went to the Administration Building. Although they didn’t have the keys, Ms. Gregory called the Highway Patrol office, who said they had several sets of keys turned in.

As I have lung cancer and am currently on chemo, I wasn’t doing too well. Ms. Gregory was kind enough to escort me to the Highway Patrol office, who thank God had my keys, and then she escorted me to my truck and made sure I was OK before I left the parking lot.

It is volunteers like Virginia Gregory who make the Missouri State Fair a unique and  rewarding experience. I am very grateful to her.
