Walkup-Pliemling engagement
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Nancy Ruth and Gary Ray Walkup, of Sedalia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Cherokee Rose Walkup, of Sedalia, to Frank Joseph Pliemling, of Arcadia. He is the son of Deborah and Harold Yarbrough, of Arcadia.
The future bride, a 2002 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, received a bachelor’s degree in music education, with an emphasis in instrumental music, from the University of Central Missouri in 2006. She is an assistant chief of the personnel systems manager for the 442nd Fighter Wing, U.S. Air Force Reserve, at Whiteman Air Force Base.
The future groom, a 1997 graduate of Arcadia Valley High School in Ironton, attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau from 2001-2002 and the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2005. He is an integrated avionics systems technician for the 131st Bomb Wing, Missouri Air National Guard, at Whiteman Air Force Base.
A Sept. 9 wedding is planned in Hawaii.
