White anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas White, of Sedalia, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a card shower, held by their daughters, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 12 at First United Methodist Church Celebration Center.
Carla Shartzer and Thomas White were married Sept. 13, 1970, in Kirksville.
Mr. White is a retired insurance adjuster. Mrs. White works at Best Brands.
They have two children, Lisa Volk and Shelly Graf, both of Sedalia; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends and relatives are invited to the celebration.The couple request no gifts.
