Edith R. Wilfong, Sedalia
Edith R. Wilfong, 81, of Sedalia, formerly of Kane, Pa., died Friday, July 20, 2007, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born April 1, 1926, in Sizerville, Pa., a daughter of Frank and Catherine Peasley. On Aug. 24, 1954, in Smethport, Pa., she was married to Clarence F. Wilfong, who died March 8, 1980.
She was a homemaker. She had been a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mount Jewett, Pa. She was a resident of the Sylvia G. Thompson Residential Center.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Lundgren, of Brookville, Pa., and Paula Clifford, of Sedalia; two sons, Gregory Wilfong, of Sedalia, and Richard Wilfong, of London, England; a half-brother, Ralph Peasley; and seven grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a brother, Neil Peasley.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home in Kane, with the Rev. Donald Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery in Kane. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of services.
