Junior L. Eckhoff, Windsor
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Junior L. Eckhoff, 76, of Windsor, died Wednesday evening, July 2, 2008, at his home.
He was born March 14, 1932, in Cole Camp, a son of Herbert Peter and Bertha Edith Lawson Eckhoff. On April 19, 1973, in Windsor, he was married to Juanita Louise Johnston, who survives of the home.
He worked at the Windsor International Shoe Factory for 35 years and at Unitog Manufacturing in Warrensburg for four years before he retired.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Windsor; and had attended the Assembly of God Church in Windsor.
Also surviving are two sons, Jimmy Eckhoff, of Warrensburg, and Dale Eckhoff, of Windsor; two daughters, Linda Craig, of Minneapolis, and Angela Eckhoff, of Windsor; and seven grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister, Genevieve Ramiraz.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Hadley Funeral Home in Windsor, with the Rev. Gene Ekstrand officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Oak Cemetery in Windsor. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
