The Missouri District Lutheran Women’s Missionary League met for its 20th biennial convention June 6 to 8 in St. Charles.

During the convention, delegates approved a mission goal of $331,000 for the 2008-2010 biennium, selected mission grants and elected officers.
Activities included a mission walk and mission fair.

Sedalia Zone members who attended included Karin Poppe, of Lincoln, retiring Sedalia Zone president; Jenna Lee Ficken, of Lincoln, new Sedalia Zone president; and Sarah Sunderman, of Cole Camp, zone young woman representative.
