Robinett-Young engagement

Carol Robinett, of Smithton, announces the engagement of her daughter, Rachel Robinett, of Smithton, to Casey Young, of Ponca, Ark. He is the son of Deanna Young, of Ponca, and Tim Young, of Harrison, Ark.

The future bride, a 2002 graduate of Smithton High School, received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood and elementary education from the University of Central Missouri in May. She is a server at Golden Corral.

The future groom, a 2004 graduate of Jasper High School in Jasper, Ark., received a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy of religion from College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout in 2008. He is working toward a master of arts degree in Christian education at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in North Kansas City. He works in receiving at Lowe’s in North Kansas City.

A July 11 wedding is planned at Maplewood Church in Sedalia.
