Mr. and Mrs. Roger Zimmerschied, of La Monte, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a dinner with family and friends on Aug. 1 at La Monte Mennonite School.
Janet Schlesselman and Roger Zimmerschied were married Aug. 2, 1969, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, by the Rev. William J. Wollenburg.
Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerschied are farmers.
They have two children, Brian Zimmerschied, and his wife, Charay, of Knob Noster, and Ann Ulmer, and her husband, Jon, of Lubbock, Texas; and four grandchildren.
