Ashley and Jacob Martin, of La Monte, became the parents of a son, Jaxon Lane, born Feb. 4, 2013, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces. The maternal grandmother and stepgrandfather are Deina and Mark Stockstill, of Sedalia. The maternal grandfather and stepgrandmother are Mike and Sheila Hill, of Harrisonville. The maternal great-grandparents are Carol Esser, of La Monte, and Leatha and Jack Williams. The paternal grandparents are Robin and Randy Martin, of La Monte. The paternal great-grandparent is Bobbi Ogan, of Sedalia.
