Anna and Vestal Church, of Sedalia, became the parents of a daughter, Samantha Rae, born Jan. 9, 2010, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall. She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces.
The maternal grandparents are Scott and Ann Carmichael, of Sedalia.
