A Kansas woman was injured in a vehicle accident at 6:16 a.m. Tuesday in Johnson County.
Cecil G. Scorgham, 51, of Hutchinson, Kan., was driving south on Northwest County Road 671 attempted to turn onto U.S. Highway 50 when he failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Jessica J. Stitt, 23, of Overland Park, Kan., according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
