Sobriety checkpoints lead to arrests

More than 300 vehicles were stopped during a Sedalia Police Department sobriety checkpoint on Saturday.

According to the SPD, of the 342 vehicles stopped around 10 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 16th Street, there were two driving-while- intoxicated arrests, one minor in possession arrest, two open container violations and one warrant arrest.
