Pettis County Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a recent spate of vandalism in the Sedalia area involving pellet or BB guns, according to a news release from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office.

Over the past several weeks, the windows of many buildings, homes and vehicles were shot out by either pellet or BB guns, the sheriff’s office reported. Several thousands of dollars in damage resulted from the rash of vandalism incidents.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest of the person or people involved in the case.

Anyone with information on the vandalism can call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 827-8477. Phone lines are not recorded and callers do not have to give their name.
