The Pettis County Democrats will host a chili and soup competition from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at American Legion Post 642, 2016 W. Main St. The cost is $5 per person and includes soup or chili, dessert and a drink. Hot dogs cost $1 extra.
This is a fundraising event with the proceeds to be used for various events that assist with local candidate campaigns and other functions of local Democratic organizations throughout the year.
