Gaming group offers scholarships

Posted: Monday, January 14, 2013 11:40 pm

The Missouri Gaming Association, the statewide professional association of the Missouri casino industry, is inviting high school students to compete for $7,000 in Project 21 scholarships by educating their peers on the issues of underage gambling.

The Project 21 scholarship program encourages students to enlighten their peers on the illegality and dangers of underage gambling. Scholarship applicants must write and publish an original article in the school newspaper, or create a poster or video and display it at their high school for at least one full week in February or March. Entries must be submitted by April 12.
