The Democrat Goes on Vacation to Sarasota, Fla.

Former Sedalia mayor Allen Hawkins visited Sarasota, Fla., this month where he was the guest speaker at the Sarasota Yacht Club’s meeting. Club members also presented him with an honorary sea captain award. Hawkins took a copy of the Democrat with him and had his photo taken.
