Becca's Closet to start taking appointments
The local chapter of Becca’s Closet — Fairy Prom Mothers of First Presbyterian Church in Marshall — will begin taking appointments for students in need of prom dresses or eighth-grade graduation dresses starting Thursday.
Becca’s Closet provides formal attire to high school students who otherwise would not be able to attend prom or homecoming. Spring open house dates will be from 10 a.m. to noon March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at the church at 212 E. North St. in Marshall. Last year, Fairy Prom Mothers dressed more than 40 teens from area schools.
