Holden woman, child injured in Johnson County crash
Two Holden residents were injured in a vehicle accident at 4:45 p.m. Monday in Johnson County.
Kathryn M. Lueken, 47, was driving south on Missouri 131 when she drove off the right side of the road, hit a guardrail, returned to the road, crossed the centerline, hit a bridge rail and finally came to rest in a ditch, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Lueken was taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City and a passenger in her vehicle, Angel Denoyer, 5, was taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital. Reports indicate Denoyer was wearing a seat belt but Lueken was not.
Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
