The Osage Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host a genealogy workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 19 at the Farm Credit Services Financial Office at 2600 S. Limit Ave. Angela McComas from the Mid-Continent Public Library Midwest Genealogy Center in Independence will be the speaker. She has 15 years experience in researching and teaching classes on genealogy.
Chapter Regent Ruthann Alexander said the workshop will provide an opportunity for others to find out more about genealogy and the DAR.
