The Sedalia City Council is scheduled to meet in committee meetings at 6:50 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
The meeting is open to the public.
The agenda includes the review of a $89,600 bid from Municipal Emergency Services Inc. to purchase self-contained breathing apparatuses for the Fire Department. A grant will cover most of the cost.
A public annexation hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. when the council meets in chambers. Coltonís Steak House, 4101 W. Broadway Blvd., requested to be annexed into the city.
The council is expected to adjourn to closed session to discuss legal advice, the lease, purchase or sale of real estate and personnel matters.
The Missouri Sunshine Law requires the council to make public any action taken in closed session within 72 hours.
