131st Bomb Wing gets new commander

Col. Michael J. Francis has been named the new commander of the Missouri National Guard’s 131st Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base.

Francis previously served as the wing’s vice commander under Col. Gregory S. Champagne, who was recently announced as the new Missouri Air National Guard assistant adjutant general by Maj. Gen. Steve Danner, the adjutant general.
