A Jamestown teen was killed in a one-vehicle crash at 1:58 p.m. Friday in Cooper County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Henry A. Imhoff, 16, was southbound on state Highway 87 seven-tenths of a mile south of Route D when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was wearing a seat belt, the report said.

Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
