A fundraiser to benefit the Benton County Cancer Fund will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Hall in Cole Camp.


A potluck dinner will begin at 6 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring a dish. Doug Dickman will lead a live auction at 7 p.m. A silent auction will be from 6 to 9 p.m. A dance will be from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tobacco Row will perform country and classic rock music.


Mary Donnell-Brown will teach a free dance called the Cotton-eyed Joe Mixer at 10 p.m. She is sponsoring the fundraiser in honor of 15-year old Keeley Haynes, a Benton County resident who is being treated for cancer, and in memory of her brother-in-law, Don Bunnell and her friend, Jenna Lee Fricken, who both died from cancer.
