Pettis County Sheriff’s Department detectives arrested two people last week for distribution of a controlled substance in the Sedalia Housing Authority.
Sheila Ann Vannoy, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested on three counts of distribution of a controlled substance in a housing authority. Each of the three charges against Vannoy are class A felonies, which could come with between 10 and 30 years in prison upon conviction.
Spring E. Levine, 33, of Windsor, was also arrested and charged with the class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
At the time of the arrests, detectives seized a large quantity of cash, more than 120 tablets of Oxycodone and other prescription-controlled substances as well a 2000 Dodge Durango that Levine owned.
Through surveillance and undercover purchases, detectives documented several narcotics transactions at Vannoy’s home at 424 Albright Court over the past month.
