City plans to spray for insects

The Sedalia Public Works Department will spray for flies and mosquitoes in the area of Southwest Village and Katy Trail at 2 a.m. Thursday, weather permitting.  This spraying has been scheduled in order to help reduce the fly and mosquito population in this area as a result of the Missouri State Fair.
