The Pettis County Commission on Tuesday approved the purchase of a ditching machine for use by the county’s Road and Bridge Department.
The single bid, submitted by Ford MFG Inc. of Chehalis, Wash., was for a Model 700 Ditch Master to be used as part of the county’s five-year road plan to help improve drainage along county roads. The bid for the vehicle and specifications came in at $274,018.
