Jamestown man hurt in emergency vehicle accident

A Jamestown man had minor injuries after a one-vehicle accident on Friday in Moniteau County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a Moniteau County Patrol vehicle driven in emergency mode by Michael J. Ward, 38, of California, Mo., was eastbound on Lake Imhoff Road just west of Quentin Drive at 11:20 p.m. when Ward lost control on a gravel-covered curve, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
