Missouri State Highway Patrol begins radio testing

Posted: Friday, September 7, 2012 9:40 pm

Starting Monday Missouri State Highway Patrol will conduct a radio coverage survey on new communications equipment for the entire Troop A area in West-Central Missouri.

According to the MSHP, the survey must be done on every road throughout the area to ensure overall system performance. At times, citizens may see unmarked patrol vehicles traveling at a very slow rate of speed in some of the more rural areas of Troop A. The unmarked vehicles are occupied by a patrol member or a retired patrol employee and employees from the Motorola Company.
