The Pettis County Health Center will begin taking appointments for a limited number of seasonal influenza vaccines starting at 8 a.m. today. The cost is $25 per vaccine. Individuals with Medicaid and Medicare need to bring their cards with them, including any supplemental Medicare coverage.

The vaccination clinic will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 16.

The center will also be taking appointments for a limited amount of seasonal influenza vaccine for children. These appointments will be scheduled at various times in December. The cost is $25 per vaccine.

Appointments for the H1N1 vaccine may also be made. Due to the volume of appointments for Dec. 16, the H1N1 vaccine will not be offered on the same day as the seasonal influenza vaccine. There is no cost for the H1N1 vaccine.
