The Benton County Sheriff’s Department is requesting help identifying a body that was found floating in Truman Lake.
According to reports, on Sept. 30 a fisherman found the body floating in the lake near a bridge. The body is described as a white female, 5-feet, 8-inches tall and somewhere between 13 and 20 years old. Because of the decomposition, pathologists are unable to tell exactly when she went into the water, estimating between a few days and six months.
