Three adults were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Friday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Eric N. Stringer, 44, of Gravois Mills, was northbound on state Highway 5 one-tenth of a mile north of Santa Fe Road at 4 p.m. when he crossed the center line and struck head-on a vehicle driven by Lisa M. Van Lerberg, 42, of Shawnee, Kan.

Stringer and Van Lerberg had serious injuries, and a passenger in Van Lerberg’s vehicle — Andrew Van Lerberg, 44, of Shawnee, Kan. — had minor injuries. The Van Lerbergs were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital. Stringer was flown by Staff For Life to University Hospital.

The report said the Van Lerbergs were wearing seat belts and Stringer was not.

Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
