Pettis County United Way is now accepting applications from qualified 501(c)3 human services agencies for 2013-14 funding.
To qualify, an agency must be established as a human service tax-exempt organization under the IRS Code Section 501(c)3. The allocation packet requests agency information in the areas of: constitution and by-laws, management, financial reports, and statement of nondiscrimination. The agency must additionally meet the funding criteria, financial accountability, community needs, program priorities and effectiveness. Those agencies wishing to be considered for 2014 allocations must return the funding application by 4 p.m. March 15.
