“40 Years Too Many: Roe vs. Wade Memorial Observance” will be from noon to 1 p.m. today at the Pettis County Courthouse.
The guest speaker will be Anne Carmichael, vice president for Vitae Foundation, a nonprofit,organization focused on reducing the number of abortions. Carmichael is a 35-year veteran in the pro-life movement and a past lobbyist for the Missouri Catholic Conference.
