A Lee’s Summit man was injured in a vehicle accident at 9:20 p.m. Sunday in Benton County.

Timothy J. Keeble, 52, was driving west on state Route 52 when he hit a deer, causing the deer to fly through the windshield, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Keeble, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with serious injuries.
