A Gravois Mills man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a vehicle accident at 8:36 p.m. Sunday in Morgan County.
Dusty A. Crowell, 25, was driving north on state Route 5 when he failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the left side of the road and hit a concrete pier and embankment, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Crowell, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for his injuries. According to the report, Crowell was also arrested for careless and imprudent driving, failure to drive on the right side of the road, not wearing a seat belt and failure to stop at a stop sign.
