World Day of Prayer event rescheduled

Friday’s World Day of Prayer event, sponsored by Church Women United of Sedalia, has been rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. March 8 at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 418 W. Fourth St.
The World Day of Prayer is a movement of Christian women who come together annually to observe a common day of prayer. The host country for 2013 is France; the topic will be “I Was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me,” with a focus on migration issues.
